Illusions of this World
“Tejal’s poetry pulses with a quiet certainty: that the world is both within us and beyond us, that humanity is a delicate echo of something immeasurably vast, something neither fully graspable nor entirely foreign. In this space, between self and cosmos, between identity and surrender, Tejal’s voice becomes not a doctrine, but a gentle rhythm—a reminder that each of us is capable of navigating our own unraveling, of shedding the illusions we carry and stepping into something deeper. Here she is not seeking to explain, but to stir.”

About the Book
What if your deepest ache was a portal to your true power?
In Illusions of This World, poet and transformational leader Tejal Tarro invites readers on a lyrical journey between worlds—through grief, longing, healing, and awakening. These raw, evocative poems emerge from the threshold where our personal breakdowns become divine breakthroughs that illuminate the quiet strength that lives beneath our pain and the wild power that rises through radical love.
With vulnerability and compassion, Tejal explores themes of spiritual transformation, human embodiment, ancestral healing, and emotional liberation, all in service of reclaiming our creative power. Her words are tender enough to soothe old wounds and clear enough to display illusions.
Perfect for readers of Rupi Kaur, Mary Oliver, or Rainer Maria Rilke, this book is a sanctuary for anyone navigating:
- The ache of separation or loss
- Burnout from performance or perfectionism
- The longing to live with more meaning, beauty, and authenticity
-
A calling to embody the sacred and awaken divine love
Whether you’re grieving, evolving, or simply searching for truth in a chaotic and divisive world, these poems offer an invitation: to feel more deeply, love more freely, and trust more wildly than ever before.
Step into the sacred unraveling. Trust the unknown unfolding. Remember the love that holds you.

Listening for the Echos
Poetry as a Portal
For Tejal, the question has never been, “is it good?” but “did it move you?” So she listens for the echoes—inviting readers to share the ways her poems have opened a doorway between worlds into deeper stillness, tender honesty, and brave self-inquiry.

It Will Begin to Put you Back Together
“It doesn’t just express emotion—it reconstructs it. It takes experiences that felt scattered and gives them form, then hands them back to you in a way that feels both confronting and healing.
If you’re willing to be unsettled—if you’re willing to be taken apart a little—this book will do that.
And then, quietly, it will begin to put you back together.”

The Right One for the Right Moment
“I am finding resonance from many sources, and when that happens your poems seem to tune in. It is not always a specific poem; it is the right one for the right moment. It is not even a specific line in the poem. It is the essence. The unspoken words, the ones with no translation, that find their home, because I believe your words were also trying to describe them.”

The Rhythms are so Entrancingly Right On
“The rhythms are so entrancingly right on – they carry the poem as a made object, and carry the insight deeply as expressions of a coherent center of self, and they carry the thought forward as the pathway of a questing soul-being, and they carry the opportunities afforded by recognition-of-limitation onward to recognition-of-liberatory recognition of self as past-present-whole being swimming in a sea of non-being/otherness.”

She delves into the subtle nuances of life, drawing out deep insights that invite us into self-inquiry: What does it mean to truly know ourselves while letting go of who we think we are? What does it mean to serve the world without being consumed by it? And how do we trust the mystery of what is ultimately unknowable?
Tejal lives in Rhode Island with her loving husband, two beautiful sons, wise father, and beloved dog. She meets each day with reverence for the intimacy of simple moments, deep gratitude for her connection to family and friends, and devoted presence in her daily practices of meditation, reading, yoga, dancing, and immersion in nature.
